Our Philosophy

In a world where sustainability is vital, our goal is to provide a eco-friendly and environmentally conscious business model with the aim of maximizing our self reliance and minimizing our waste.

At La Miellerie du Jura today and throughout its long history we have always looked to the future of our company and beekeeping. 

For us this means our hives and honey boxes are handmade in a workshop on site. Wood which we harvest ourselves is sourced from trees planted by our predecessors. 

Throughout the season we extract all our honey at home and collect the beeswax. This is recycled into new wax frames for the following year.
